Deciding which allies to bring back, how to attack to maximize trample damage, and so on! The overall strategy is pretty simple, destroy things with Éomer while most everyone else quests, but the tactical decisions of the deck can be complex. We have no leadership hero so we will need either A Good Harvest or Song of Kings to be able to get Gúthwinë into play. The goal of this entire deck is to get Gúthwinë on Éomer so he can start recurring Rohan allies out of the discard and gettting his attack boost every round! However the main card drawing engine will be Elven-light. In your opening hand you want to see Elven-light, but A Good Harvest, Open the Armory, or Gúthwinë are all good as well. This is my Rohan deck centered around the leave play mechanic and turning Éomer into an absolute monster! How does it play? This deck has also been featured on my blog:Īrise, arise, Riders of Théoden! Fell deeds awake, fire and slaughter! Spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered, a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!
